Sterling’s software division was formed from the former ERDAS UK distribution team of Astrium Geoinformation Services (formally Infoterra, branded as Symetri Geo). We act as the sole distributor for ERDAS desktop and enterprise products in the UK.

Sterling is a well-established large engineering business with a single stakeholder, and is committed to providing a sound business platform for the software division as distributors of ERDAS in the UK.

With our focus on ERDAS software, we are able to tailor solutions to our customers' exact requirements; whether it is a simple desktop ERDAS IMAGINE installation or a complex spatial data infrastructure (SDI) with ERDAS APOLLO.

All software sales are backed up by a highly knowledgeable technical support team, with over fifty years combined experience in the geospatial software field, the majority of which was gained working on real-world projects for companies throughout the geospatial industry. Sterling’s software division also provides training, either on-site or at its own purpose built training facility in Birmingham or Loughborough. We ensure easy access to support, updates and information on the development of the products.
